Bahrain's Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning has received six bids for the pre-contract engineering consultancy services for roads and sanitary infrastructure for the $90-million biscuit plant of Mondelez at Bahrain International Investment Park.
The bidding companies are Parsons Global Services Limited, Egis International, Dar SSH International Engineering Consultants, KEO International Consultants, Aecom Middle East Limited and Pan Arab Consulting Engineers, according to the tender board website.
"The timeframe for consultancy service is one year," a source told Thomson Reuters Projects.
In February 2016, state-owned Bahrain News Agency reported that US-based Mondelez has launched the construction of its new biscuit plant at Bahrain International Investment Park with an annual capacity of 90,000 tonnes.
Bahrain International Investment Park is a 247 hectare business park that has been developed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
