Kuwait awarded 9 contracts worth $180 million in November: Newspaper

Kuwait awarded nine oil related contracts worth around 54.6 million dinars ($180 million) to local companies in November, a newspaper has reported.
The projects awarded by the state-owned Kuwait Oil Company cover construction, oil well development, drilling, maintenance and supplies, Arabic daily Al-Seyassah said, quoting oil industry sources.
The biggest contract, worth around 22.9 million dinars ($75.5 million), was won by local National Petroleum Services Company (NAPESCO).
The second biggest contract with a value of about 12 million dinars ($39.6 million) was awarded to Kuwait's Integral Services Company.
The other deals were awarded to Explomo Technical Services, Al-Meer Technical Services, Honeywell Kuwait, Dan Trading &Contracting, Advanced Technology Company, and Abdul Rahman Al-Bisher & Zaid Al-Kazemi Company.
Napesco was also awarded a second contract worth around 5.5 million dinars ($18 million) for environment and safety work, according to the report.
