(Correction: Danube has confirmed that the National Engineering Bureau (NEB) is the consultant on the Bayz tower project, and not Edmac, as originally stated.)
UAE-based developer Danube Properties, part of the Danube Group, will issue the main construction tender for its 450 million dirhams ($122.5 million) Bayz residential tower in Business Bay, Dubai, before the end of the year, a company executive said on Sunday.
“We will issue the tender for the main construction contract within the next six months," Danube Group Chairman Rizwan Sajan told Thomson Reuters Projects on the sidelines of the project’s launch.
“The design is finalised. It will take two-and-a-half years to complete,” he said.
Dubai-based National Engineering Bureau (NEB) is the consultant for the 29-storey tower, which will feature 456 furnished apartments including studios and multi-bedroom units.
In March, Thomson Reuters Projects reported that the developer plans to tender the main construction of its 300 million dirhams Resortz residential project in Arjaan master development in Dubai, also in the next few months.
The company has three billion dirhams worth of projects under construction, with four projects worth about 1.1 billion dirhams due to be delivered this year.
