ADM develops 6 community markets worth $148mln in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) is partnering with private companies to develop community markets for the residential areas of Abu Dhabi Mainland and Island.
Agreements have been signed with private companies to develop six projects worth 529 million UAE dirhams ($144.03 million) on invest, design, construct and operate basis, the municipality said in a statement.
The seventh project is planned for Khalifa City and costs 15 million dirhams($4.08 million), the statement said.
The six projects already awarded are Mohammed bin Zayed City (170 million dirhams), Shakhbout City (160 million dirhams), Baniyas City (45 million dirhams), Yas Island (65 million dirhams), Al Wathba City (21 million dirhams) and Al Shamkha City (68 million dirhams).
